Well it’s over and what a great time was had by all!!
Those in attendance got to see the “Great Carnack” (Perky), his partner “Ed” (Peanut),
and additional skits with Krabill sitting on Tom’s lap as “Ruth Buzzy”. Hope someone
recorded their performance so it can be played on U-tube.
Coach Nester asked to talk toward the end of the reunion where he reminisced about
how great a class we were and like family. He pointed out several classmates and
spoke of their high school accomplishments.
He entertained us with the “BGHS 62 Choo Choo” led by Sam Yohe followed by Stu Sterns,
Ray Bertleson and Coach N. Turns out Sam was the first and as of this date, the
only male cheerleader in our schools history. “Congrats” to Sam – he still has the
Most importantly the 92 in attendance got to renew friendships, catch up and enjoy
dinner. In addition to the coaches, at the young age of 90, George McCoy joined us.
The Simpson center provided an excellent venue for our gathering.
It you were not able to attend this year you may want to start planning for 2014. It
was decided to have a 70th Birthday Celebration. Did not want to wait five years.

Finally, those attending voted to make a donation to the BGHS Foundation by the Class
of 62. We have not decided on an amount yet, but if you would like to make a “Tax
Deductible” donation it could make a significant impact on the total amount. More
